Jerry Ray Cassada 60 of 141 Haven Lane Pomaria died Monday December 1 2003 at Pinner Clinic. Mr. Cassada was born on July 16 1943 in Polk County NC a son of the late Russell Frank and Margaret Metcalf Cassada. He was a retired employee of International Paper Company. Mr. Cassada is survived by his wife Lisa Wood Cassada of the home; a daughter April Nichole Cassada of Pomaria; four sons Justin Lee Cassada and Brandon Lee Cassada both of Pomaria William David Cassada and Jerry Ray Cassada Jr. both of Asheville NC; two sisters Dorothy Willingham and Shirley Dozier both of Asheville NC; and a brother James Cassada of Asheville NC. Memorial services for Jerry Ray Cassada will be conducted at 2:00 P. M. Friday at the Whitaker Funeral Home by the Rev. Steve Jackson.
