Jessie Caroline Boozer Mayer 91 formerly of 932 Spearman Road Newberry widow of Harry E. Mayer Sr. died Monday November 7 2005 at White Oak Manor.Mrs. Mayer was born on January 23 1914 in Newberry County a daughter of the late Horace Lee and Rebecca Harmon Boozer. She was a homemaker and a member of Smyrna Presbyterian Church the Women in the Church and the Adult Sunday School Class.Mrs. Mayer is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law Elliott and Linda Mayer and Lee and Suzanne Mayer all of Newberry; a brother and sister-in-law Horace L. "Pete" and Mazie Boozer of Newberry; four grandchildren Guerry Mayer Wanda Richardson Leanne Waters and Scott Mayer all of Newberry; and four great grandchildren Nathan and Kaylee Mayer and Loren and Brett Waters. She was predeceased by a brother Thomas Lee Boozer. Funeral services were conducted t 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at Smyrna Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Scott Hill.
