Jimmie S. Milstead 81 died Tuesday October 25 2005 at White Oak Manor.Mr. Milstead was born on October 22 1924 in Newberry a son of the late James J. and Ava Addison Milstead. He was a Navy veteran of WW II and he was a member of Mt. Pilgrim Lutheran Church and the Destroyer Escort Association.Mr. Milstead is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years Margaret Wood Milstead of Chapin; a son and daughter-in-law Timothy Wood and Christine Webb Milstead of Newberry; two sisters Vernell M. Cromer and Dorothy M. Turner both of Newberry; and two grandchildren Chris and Amy Milstead of Pomaria and Bryan Milstead of Newberry. Graveside funeral service were conducted at 11:00 A.M. Thursday in the Mt. Pilgrim Lutheran Church Cemetery by the Rev. Paul Wallner.Memorials may be made to Mt.
