John H. Brooks 49 of 3101 College St Newberry died Thursday June 3 2005 at his residence.Mr. Brooks was born on September 13 1955 in Newberry a son of Doris Fleming and the late J.C. Brooks.Beside his mother of Newberry Mr. Brooks is survived by his step-father Elmer G. Fleming of Newberry; a sister Sandra Carr of Greenville; a brother James C. Brooks of Newberry.Memorial services was conducted at 3:00 P. M. Sunday at the Whitaker Funeral Home by the Rev. Kem Thomas.
