John H. Wilson 63 of 3812 Belfast Road Newberry died Thursday August 07 2003 at Providence Hospital in Columbia. Mr. Wilson was born on January 21 1940 in Columbia a son of the late Judd Franklin and Josephine Cooper Lyon Wilson. He was the owner of Wilson Tractor Inc. and a veteran of U. S. Air Force. He was a member of Smyrna Presbyterian Church and attended Trinity United Methodist Church. Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife Linda Hendrix Wilson of the home; three sons and daughters-in-law Eddie and Sherrie Wilson and Steve and Sheryl Wilson both of Newberry Ashley and April Wilson of Prosperity; two daughters and a son-in-law Lynn and Burt Mohler of Newberry and Lesli C. Campbell of Lexington; a sister Barbara Wilson Ferguson of Greenville; a brother Judd Frank Wilson of Anderson; six grandchildren Emily Brooke Wilson Ashton Elizabeth Wilson Stephanie Amanda Wilson Cooper Nicole Wilson Lauryn Ashley Wilson and Sarah Elizabeth Mohler. He was predeceased by a brother William Wyatt Wilson. Funeral services for John H. Wilson will be conducted at 11:00 A. M. Saturday at the Trinity United Methodist Church by the Rev. Hugh Bickley. Interment will be in Newberry Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7:30 P. M. Friday at the Whitaker Funeral Home. The family will be at the residence 3812 Belfast Road Newberry.
