John “Johnny” Robert Sligh, Jr., 73, of Newberry, South Carolina, died on Sunday, October 25, 2025.
Born on April 1, 1953, in Newberry, South Carolina, he was the son of Margaret Fuller Sligh and the late John Robert Sligh, Sr.
Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Rebecca Wicker on Thursday, October 29, 2026 at 11 AM at Summer Memorial Lutheran Church. A private burial will take place at a later date at Newberry Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall prior to the service, starting at 10 AM.
