Joseph W. "Joe" Tesseneer, III, 53 years old, died on September 13, 2020. Joe resided in Batesburg, SC. Born on September 23, 1966 in Kings Mountain, NC, he was the son of Joseph W. "Joe" Tesseneer, Jr. and the late Judy Marr Tesseneer. He was employed as a diesel mechanic with Dowd Diesel in Newberry. Joe was a member of Amick Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church of Batesburg. He was a humble man and a faithful friend who enjoyed a simple life. He was also a fun-loving individual who liked "cutting up" and a man who still enjoyed his CB radio and communicating with his CB buddies. Joe is survived by his father of Kings Mountain; his girlfriend, Sherry Gulledge of Batesburg; his sister and her husband, Sandra "Sandy" and Eric Willis of Vine Grove, KY; a niece and nephew, Hannah and Jonathan Willis; and his babies, Winky and Wiggles his dogs and Prissy his cat. In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Joe and Virginia Marr and his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Geraldine Tesseneer. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, September 25, 2020 at the Whitaker Funeral Home in Newberry with a visitation to follow.
