Joseph Kenneth "Kenny" Lindler, 73, a lifetime resident of Chapin died Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at Lexington Medical Center. Kenny was the son of George and Blanche (Fannning) Lindler. He was a retired mechanic and had a natural green thumb for vegetable gardening. He was a NASCAR fan and enjoyed fishing in his free time.

He is survived by his daughter, Nikki Morris and her husband Benji; grandson, Gavin Morris; granddaughter, Autumn Lindler; brother, Ray (Suzie) Lindler; nephew, Greg Lindler; and niece, Michelle Jones; and several great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and by his niece Melissa Clark.

A memorial service will be held at 3:30pm on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at Whitaker Funeral Home, Chapin, 939 Chapin Rd, with Rev Rebecca Wicker officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held one half hour prior to the service.
