Joyce "Annette" Vaughn Jones, 81, of Newberry passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at White

Oak Manor in Newberry.

Born on December 5, 1940 in Union, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Martha Vaughn.

She was a devoted wife and mother who lived for her family and found great joy in socializing and loved

her friends.

She was a member of Glenn Street Baptist Church and owner and operator of Nette's Day Care.

She is survived by her 2 children, Wendy (Jeff) Roberts and Terry (Kim) Jones; grandchildren, Adam

Roberts (Ashley), Keely Jones Green (Kaleb), Savannah R. Kendrick (Joshua), and Ian Jones Roberts;

great-grandchild, Waverly Ruth Roberts; numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Winston Churchill Jones; siblings, Ruth Pugh, Jane Jones,

Norma Henderson, and Joe Vaughn.

Services will be conducted by Rev. Camden Bagwell at Glenn Street Baptist Church on Friday, December

2, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with interment taking place at Rosemont Cemetery immediately following.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service starting at 1PM.
