Julia Julie P. Copley 56 formerly of Aiken died Tuesday June 15 2010 at J.F. Hawkins Health Care Center in Newberry SC. Ms. Copley was born on May 6 1954 in Aiken SC a daughter of Elizabeth Betty Taylor Copley of Newberry and the late Burt C. Copley Sr. She was a former employee of the Tri Development Center in Aiken. Along with her mother she is survived by sisters Hunt (Jerry) Coffey of Newberry Ginny (Paul) Joyce of Matthews NC; brother Burt (Melissa) Copley; and nieces and nephews James (Julie) Coffey Matthew Coffey Jeff Joyce Michael Joyce Elizabeth Joyce Madison Copley and Braxton Copley. There will be a memorial service at First Presbyterian Church Friday June 18 2010 at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends following the service. There will be a memorial service at J. F. Hawkins Heath Care Chapel Saturday June 19 2010 at 11:00 AM. The family suggests memorials be made to Greenville Shriners Hospital 950 W. Faris Road Greenville SC 29605. The family would also like to thank Dr. Oscar Lovelace and the nurses and staff of J.F. Hawkins for their love and care.
