Kay Ellen Bittinger McPherson, 72, of Prosperity, South Carolina, died June 19, 2025, at her home. Born September 17, 1952 in Nebraska, she was the daughter of the late Billy and Margie Bittinger.

Kay was a beloved grandmother and mother to her family. She was known to be bold, honest and straightforward person. She was surrounded with love and warmth from her grandchildren, who brought her great joy. Kay always remained the proudest of her children and family.

Kay is survived by her daughter, Erin Leigh McPherson (George); son, Josh McPherson; grandchildren, Malachi Senn, Mya McPherson and Calista Woodbury-Rabon (Timothy). She is also survived by her brother, Paul Bittinger (Becky).
