Keith Allen Johnson, 50, of Newberry died unexpectedly on Saturday, August 29, 2020. Keith was born on February 8, 1970 and was the son of Brenda Long Johnson and the late Laval H. Johnson. He was a former employee with Marriott and for the past years had been a farmer in the Bush River Community of Newberry. Keith loved the out of doors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming, country life. He was an avid reader, liked John Wayne movies and spoiling his grandchildren was at the top of his favorites. And he had a kind heart. He was a man who would do anything to help others. He was an active member of the Bush River Fire Department. In addition to his mother Brenda of Charlotte, NC, he is survived by his children, Tabatha Johnson of Charlotte, Hunter Johnson and D.J. Johnson both of Newberry; brothers, Brent E. Johnson (Teresa) of Marietta, GA and Brian S. Johnson (Ann) of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, James, Henley and Anthony Johnson and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins. Graveside funeral services will be held in Newberry Memorial Gardens at 11:00 am on Friday, September 4, 2020.
