Kenneth Earl Turney 69 of 528 Boyd Road Newberry died Saturday January 28 2012 at J.F. Hawkins Nursing Home. Mr. Turney was born on June 7 1942 in Spartanburg a son of the late Luther Earl and Edith Kirby Turney. He was a member of Chapin United Methodist Church the Boyleston Masonic Lodge # 123 A.F.M. and the Hejaz Shrine Temple. He retired as a driver for Morco Foods. He is survived by his wife Anna Harris Turney of Newberry; sons Kenneth Andrew (Laura) Turney of Swansea and David Earl (Gayle) Turney of Newberry; brother David Lee (Mona) Turney of Spartanburg; and grandchildren Sarah Ann Bishop Briana Kurtz Sam Devenuto Blake Turney Chandler Turney and James Turney. Graveside funeral services with Masonic Rites were conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday at Dutch Fork Baptist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Paul Allen. The family did greet friends after the service.
