Kenneth Carroll Huffstetler, 65, died on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 in Chapin.

Kenny was born to the late Carroll and Virginia Nichols Huffstetler in Newberry on February 14, 1959.

He was an Engineering Technician. Kenny was a member of St Peter Lutheran Church where he held various positions over the years including Youth Advisor, Greeter, Usher, Offering Counter, and serving on Church Council.

In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming, hosting BBQ's and a good fish fry. He loved spending time with his family in the Tennessee mountains and at Edisto Beach. In the fall, he could be found cheering on the Clemson Tigers and apple picking with his family.

He is survived by his wife of almost 43 years, Donna Frick Huffstetler; children, Jessica (Brandon) Shealy, Zach (Xan) Huffstetler, Kelsey (Paul) Huffstetler; grandchildren, Gracyn and Sam Shealy, Ada Smith, Sophie Fay; brother, Ronnie (Sally) Huffstetler; sister, Linda Boatwright; parents-in-law, Larry and Judith Frick; brother-in-law, Stanley (Andi) Frick; numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 4pm on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 900 Dreher Island Road, Chapin, SC 29036. A gathering of family and friends will be held immediately following the service in the Fellowship Hall.
