Kenneth "Ken" LeRoy Lintz, 79, of Newberry, South Carolina, went to his eternal home Friday morning, January 26, 2024, at his residence.
Born May 25, 1944, in Detroit, Michigan, he was the son of the late Leroy Meredith Lintz and the late Louise Kennedy Lintz.
Ken was a proud Veteran of the United States Air Force who fought and served his country during the Vietnam War. He was a devoted Christian and a faithful church member at House of God in Newberry.
Ken was a very intelligent and Godly man who was often thinking and coming up with the solution. He had an appreciation and fond interest in trains, aircraft, and spacecraft. Most of all, exceptional military aircraft.
Many of the greatest treasures and blessings Ken had throughout life were memories of the family camping trips that started back in the 70's. As well as making the greatest effort to spend time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He loved experiencing God's presence in his life while facing head-on challenges. Ken always walked in the light of God. Ken desired a grateful family and was blessed to have a family that got along one another, kept a close relationship with the Lord and continue to live a devoted Christian life.
Ken truly lived his life to the faith that the only way to have a successful life is to have the Lord guide you through his ways.
He is survived by his children, Kenneth Brian Lintz, Timothy Robert Lintz, Tamara Catherine Winn, Christopher Scott Lintz, Lisa Marie Wright, Ken Lee Lintz, Kimberly Dawn Lintz, Wendy Spring Lintz and Kevin James Lintz.
