Kenneth "Ken" Neill, 71, of Chapin, died Monday, May 1, 2017 at his residence.
Born on March 27, 1946 in Mooresville, NC, he was a son of the late Charles Herman and Margaret Fischer Neill.
Ken was a gun and knife collector as well as a self-taught computer tech. He thoroughly enjoyed fishing and traveling and was known as a selfless man. Ken was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather that cared deeply for his family.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Neill; children, Linda Chavious (Oliver) of Lugoff, Billy Neill of Chapin, and Wayne Neill (Julie) of Dallas, TX; step-sons, Jeremy Moak of Newberry and Brant Moak of Warner Robins, GA; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Becky Neill of Mooresville, NC, Yvonne Porter of Chapin, and Eva Boudreaux of West Columbia; and brothers-in-law, Paul Riddle, Jr. and Thomas Bunn, both of Chapin.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Theresa Neill and brother, Buck Neill.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, May 5 at the Whitaker Funeral Home, Chapin, conducted by Rev. Chuck O'Shields.
