Kimberly Ann Eubanks, 53, of Silverstreet, passed away Monday, November 29, 2021 at Prisma Health Baptist Hospital. Born on February 7, 1968 she was the daughter of Gerry Johnson and the late William Johnson. Kim worked as a Charge Nurse at JF Hawkins Nursing Home in the Alzheimer Unit, where she was dedicated to her patients, and their families, often working 16-hour shifts even while on oxygen. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and the SC 4-H Meat Goat Association. Kim was the hardest working, strongest working, most generous person, always putting others first. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She treasured her time with her granddaughter, Sadie, and it was not uncommon to find her cruising around in her Z4 BMW blaring songs. She loved the beach and she especially loved being at her farm, caring for the goats. She will be remembered for her selflessness, courage, her fight and her love of the song "Apple Bottom Jeans." Kim is survived by her husband of 34 years, David Eubanks; son, Alex Eubanks and his fiancé, Halie Pearson; granddaughter, Sadie; sister, Carol Johnson and a loving extended family. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ann and Bruce Eubanks; and her brothers, Joey Johnson and Jeffrey Johnson. Funeral services will be conducted at 3PM Thursday, December 2, 2021 by the Rev. Douglas Benton at Trinity United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:30 PM Wednesday at Whitaker Funeral Home, Newberry. Pallbearers will be Michael Watkins, Eric Caldwell, William Johnson Sr., William Johnson Jr., Garrett Johnson, Mark Eubanks, and Johnny Pitts, Jr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Steve Eubanks and employees of J.F.
