Lauren M. Gruss

Mar 5, 1956 — Jul 13, 2026

Lauren Mayanne Schubert Gruss, 70, of Chapin, South Carolina, died on July 13, 2026. Born in Chicago, Illinois, on March 5, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Warren A. and Barbara J. Nielsen Schubert.

A dedicated homemaker, Lauren poured her heart into her home and family, embracing every moment spent with them. Her greatest joys were found in her family's happiness, with whom she shared countless memories. She never missed an opportunity to be there for her children and grandchildren; they were truly the apple of her eye.

She is also survived by her beloved black Labrador, Cassie

In addition to her parents, Lauren was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 18 years, Robert Paul Gruss; her son, Robert Gruss; and her brother, Terry Schubert.
