Obituary

Leonard C. Hall 79 of SC Highway 34 & 121 Silverstreet died Monday September 17 2007 at his residence.Mr. Hall was born on April 18 1928 in Edgefield a son of the late M. Ramey and Effie Scott Hall. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a retired employee of Senn Freight Lines. He was a member of Epting Memorial United Methodist Church American Legion Post 24 and the Forty & Eight. He is survived by his wife Pauline Jones Hall of Silverstreet; daughters and son-in-law Linda and Randy Crews Joyce Hall and Lynda Ruff all of Newberry; a son and daughter-in-law Mike and Donna Hall of Newberry; four grandchildren Randy C. Crews Jr. Tammy Lynn Pilgrim William L. C. Crews and Bryan Hall; six great grandchildren Dakota Pilgrim Cody Pilgrim Nicholas Crews Hayden Hall Maddie Crews and Joshua Crews; and four brothers Lester Hall of Graniteville Harold Hall of Spartanburg William Hall of North Augusta and Bartley Hall of Trenton. He was predeceased by a grandson Joseph Hall a sister Marie Turner and brothers Edward Hall Bruce Hall and James Lee HallFuneral service were conducted at 4:00 PM Wednesday at Epting Memorial United Methodist Church by the Rev. David Inman Rev. Tony Rowell and Rev. Eric Fink. Interment was in Newberry Memorial Gardens.Visitation was from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday at the Whitaker Funeral Home. The family will be at the residence SC Highway 34 & 121 Silverstreet.Memorials may be made to Epting United Methodist Church 1401 Milligan St. Newberry SC 29108 or to Hospice Care of S.C. P.O. Box 37 Prosperity SC 29127. Active pallbearers were Allen Davenport Kevin Sanders Russell Hendrix Ricky Dowd Ronnie Davenport Henry Senn Eddie Graham and Ricky Richardson. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Bob Smith and staff A.D. Senn members of American Legion Post #24 and employees of Hospice Care of S.C.
