Letha M. Ramsey 83 of Newberry died Thursday Nov. 8 2006 at the Newberry County Memorial Hospital.Ms Ramsey was born on Aug. 27 1924 in Portsman WV a daughter of the late Lee Charles and Della Sue Ramsey. She was the former owner and waitress of a restaurant and store in Dillion. She was of the Baptist faith.She is survived by her three daughters Lila L. Norton of Newberry Dean Ramsey of Mullins and Diane Hall of High Point NC; eight grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother Henry Franklin Haithcock. Graveside funeral services were conducted 12:00 Noon Saturday at Tabor Methodist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Walter Green.The family was at the residence of her grandson Billy Joe Norton Sr. 196 Compass Dr. Newberry.Active pallbearers were her grandchildren.Memorials may be made to J.F.
