Lila Fischer Atchison 47 of Newberry died Sunday August 24 2003 at the Oconee Memorial Hospital.Ms. Atchison was born on July 7 1956 in Orangeburg a daughter of C. A. "Al" Fischer Jr. and the late Anne Carpenter Fischer. She was a dance instructor and a member of Aveleigh Presbyterian Church. Ms. Atchison is survived by her father and mother C. Al and Edna S. Fischer of Orangeburg; a daughter Elizabeth Lila Atchison of Central; two sons Forest Elgin Atchison of Clemson and Albert Moody Atchison of Newberry; two sisters Lisa Fischer Minick of Chapin and Kristi Marlow of Santee; and three brothers C.A. "Bert" Fischer III and Hall Fischer both of Orangeburg and Keith Morgan of Lexington Funeral services for Lila Fischer Atchison will be conducted at 11:00 A. M. Thursday at the Whitaker Funeral Home. Interment will be in Rosemont Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 7:00 P. M. Wednesday at the Whitaker Funeral Home.
