Lillie Mae Folk 82 of 1421 Wheeler Street Newberry died Thursday April 7 2005 at her residence.Miss Folk was born August 28 1922 in Newberry a daughter of the late Christian Milton and Lily May Caldwell Brown Folk. She was a life long member of Beth-Eden Lutheran Church a member of the church choir an officer of the WELCA and served on various committees of the church. She was retired from J. F. Hawkins Nursing Home.Miss Folk is survived by a sister Mary F. Lominick of Pomaria; eight nieces and nephews Olin Lominick Jr. Jane L. Ringer Bobby F. Lominick Chris F. Lominick Dianne Lominick M. Hayne Folk J. Wayne Folk and J. David Folk; a number of great nieces and nephews; and a number of great-great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers Hamilton Folk James D. Brown and R. Haskell Brown and a sister Sarah Adelaide Folk.Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 P. M. Saturday at the Beth-Eden Lutheran Church by the Rev. Rodney Gunter.
