Linda Bishop Stone 60 of Whitmire died Tuesday December 15 2015 at Newberry County Memorial Hospital. The family will be at the residence of her son Jason Silvers and will received friends on Thursday December 17 2015 from 5:30 until 7:30 PM at the Whitaker Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday December 18 2015 at the Whitaker Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Rosemont Cemetery Springfield Section. She was born on October 18 1955 in Laurens the daughter of the late Ollie Mae Bishop Smith and Lewis M. Smith. Linda thoroughly enjoyed playing cards. She was known as an extremely loving and caring woman and her family will remember her most as an awesome mom and Granny. She is survived by children Jason Silvers of Newberry Jimmy Silvers (Misty) of Pendleton Michael Silvers (Krystal) of Anderson Dwayne Silvers (Angela) of Westminster and Amanda Stone and Amy Silvers both of Whitmire; grandchildren Samantha C.J. Jamie Logan Allison Cierra Tanner Jacob Tyler Emma Kevin and Donald; and a special friend Ann ODonald of Whitmire. She was predeceased by her husband Kevin E.Gene Stone and brother Jerry Bishop. Pallbearers will be Daniel Worthy Jerry Arrowood Kelly Campbell Kenneth Simon Charlie Seegars and Chris Crumpton.
