Linda Werts Williams 59 of 2010 Smith Rd. Newberry wife of Raymond O. Williams died Sunday April 22 2007 at the Newberry County Memorial Hospital.She was born in Newberry a daughter of Annie Crouch Werts and the late Thomas F. Werts. She retired from Winn Dixie Stores after 38 years and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.She is survived by her husband of Newberry; her mother of Silverstreet; her step-son Michael T. Williams of Newberry; a brother Thomas Werts of Silverstreet; a niece; a nephew; and two special friends Sandra Roton and Debbie Long. She was predeceased by a sister Mary Francis Werts Pitts.Funeral services were will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday at Mayer Memorial Lutheran Church by the Rev. Dr. Robert McCollum. Interment was in Rosemont Cemetery.Visitation was from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday at the Whitaker Funeral Home.
