Lynn Moore Satterfield, 63, of Chapin died on October 30, 2019 at Lexington Medical Center . Born on October 16, 1956 in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Paul L. and Jean Cox Moore. Lynn was strong in her faith and shared her faith through her active membership and participation at Chapin Baptist Church. She worked with her husband in their family business, Satterfield Computer Services. Lynn enjoyed the out of doors, especially hiking and kayaking. Along with her husband, she loved boats and boating and all things of the water. She was a very active member of the National Wild Turkey Federation and earned the distinction of Master Gardener. Other hobbies included sewing and quilting. Lynn is survived by her husband of 34 years, Douglas E. Satterfield; sons, Tyler Satterfield of Chapin and his fiancée Stephanie Brock of San Diego, CA and Cullen Satterfield of Simpsonville; and her siblings, Jimmie Lee Moore of Napa, CA, Joseph Charles "Jofy" Moore of Bluffton, and Laurie Long of Irmo. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 2, 2019 at the Chapin Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Michael Hull. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 PM Friday at the Whitaker Funeral Home in Chapin.
