Marian "Mackey" Haltiwanger Satterfield, 75, formerly of Hodges, widow of Donald Devoy Satterfield, died Saturday, March 12, 2016, at NHC in Clinton. Born in Newberry, January 20, 1941, she was a daughter of the late George L. and Mildred Kinard Haltiwanger. She was a graduate of Newberry High School. Mackey had a love for antiques and after having an antique shop in McCormick, she moved the business to Greenwood under the name, Mackey's Antiques. She thoroughly enjoyed not only having the business but the many conversations with friends that developed through the business. She was a member of Rice Memorial Baptist Church in Greenwood. Surviving are her sons, Keith Satterfield of Greenwood and Chris (Mandy) Satterfield of Powdersville; a daughter, Kim Satterfield-Fant (Ray) of Boiling Springs; her brothers, Ed Haltiwanger, Henry (Daphine) Haltiwanger and Mickey (Mary) Haltiwanger, all of Newberry and Jimmy (Beth) Haltiwanger of Silverstreet; a granddaughter, Ella Kate Abney Satterfield. She was predeceased by her husband of more than 54 years, a brother, Kenny Haltiwanger and two sisters, Dot Hamby and Lib Hamm. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am Tuesday from the Blyth Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Stephen Evans and Rev. Cindy Thorpe officiating. Entombment will follow in Oakbrook Memorial Park Chapel Mausoleum. Pallbearers will be Dennis Erskine, Wendell Hughes, Tim Wines, Harold McConnell, Ralph Logan and Kenny Price. Honorary escort will be Bill and Barbara Vieth, Janice Clinkscales, the Staff of NHC Clinton, Staff of Caris Hospice and Beth Burch.
