Malcolm G. Miller 74 of 406 Patio Dr. Columbia died Saturday August 7 2010 at his residence. Mr. Miller was born August 23 1935 in London England to the Late George Miller and Henrietta Field Mason. He was a veteran of the US Army and a graduate of the University of South Carolina. He retired as Vice President of Southwinds but following retirement continued to work on a part time basis. His hobby was coin collecting but he enjoyed card games watching classic movies and keeping up with the stock market. He also enjoyed watching sports events especially the Atlanta Braves baseball games. Mr. Miller is survived by his five children Jeffrey S. Miller and wife Dawn of Savannah GA. Cynthia M. Corley and husband Rhett of Chapin Malcolm G. Miller Jr. and wife Teresa of Columbia N. Reed Miller of Columbia and Kelvan M. Miller and wife Juliana of Columbia; a brother Jeremy E. Miller of McRae GA and seven grandchildren Jeffrey Miller Megan Miller Ty Corley Jayde Corley Mitchell Miller Mason Miller and Rynn Miller. He was predeceased by his wife Virginia Cunningham Miller. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday at the Whitaker Funeral Home in Chapin. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 A.M.Thursday in Bush River Memorial Gardens.
