Mamie Kathlean Perry-Davis, 49 years of age of Silverstreet, died on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at Prisma Health Baptist in Columbia, SC. She was born in Okeechobee, Fl to her parents Roger Dale Perry of Silverstreet and the late Mamie Kathlean Perry. Kathlean attended Newberry High School, then graduated Piedmont Technical College with an Associate Degree in Accounting. She spent most of her life making a home for her family. Her passion in life was being a supportive and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. She was the "glue" to her family. She enjoyed shopping, eating out, making crafts, and being with her family. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Rickey Davis; her children, Korysa Perry-Davis, Kapresha Perry-Davis, Rickkya Perry-Davis and Markell Davis, Jr. all of Silverstreet; her grandson Jerrell Williams; her father Roger Perry and brother, Rodney O. Perry. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 24 at the Whitaker Funeral Home in Newberry. Interment will follow the service in Newberry Memorial Gardens.
