Margaret Judith Barnett, 75 of Newberry, died Thursday, January 29, 2016 at White Oak Manor. Ms. Barnett was born on June 8, 1940 in Laurens County, a daughter of the late James George and Elizabeth Mayfield Barnett. She retired from Judy's Styling and was a member of Bush River Baptist Church. Ms. Barnett is survived by her sons, Carl Couch of Newberry and Cameron Couch and his partner Patty Kilpatrick of Newberry; a sister Vera Childress (J.C.) of Clinton; grandchildren, Dixie Couch, Britney Couch, and April Couch; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two children, Stacy Couch and Susan Couch and two siblings, Rachel Brazell and Jimmy Barnett.
