Margaret Elizabeth "Bobbie" Hollingsworth Zobel, 90, of Newberry died Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at White Oak Manor. Born on February 14, 1928 in Chappells, she was a daughter of the late Herman and Ethel Wessinger Hollingsworth. Mrs. Zobel was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer. She enjoyed fishing and shopping. She is survived by a son, David Zobel of Prosperity; daughter-in-law, Vickie Zobel of Prosperity; sister, Maree H. Gilliam of Lexington; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, James Oscar "Butch" Zobel; sons, Jimmy Zobel and Kent Zobel; and sister, Mary Frances Young. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at the Whitaker Funeral Home. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11:30 AM Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Newberry Memorial Gardens by Rev. Matthew Titus.
