Margaret Davis Hawkins passed away April 11 2011 in Kingsport TN. She was preceded in death by her husband Dr. G. F. Hawkins. Margaret was born in Newberry South Carolina on July 25 1919 and she attended Newberry College. She was a long time resident of Kingsport Tennessee and a member of Waverly Road Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her son David B. Hawkins and her grand-daughter Casey Claire Hawkins both of Tucson Arizona. She will be buried in Newberry South Carolina and no services have been scheduled for Kingsport. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Sullivan County Imagination Library 149 Pactolus Road Kingsport TN 37663 which is part of Dolly Partons Imagination Library program providing books for children.
