Margaret F. Hallman 83 of Chapin passed away on Sunday October 10 2010. She was the daughter of the late Jonas Berley and Annie Mae Riddle Frick and was the wife of the late Norris E. Hallman. She was a member of St. Peters (Pineywoods) Lutheran Church where she was a member of the Prime Timers Grace Circle #2 and the St. Peters WELCA. Margaret loved to quilt play setback with her friends and she was an avid gardener. She is survived by sons Benny (Janice) Hallman and Donnie (Lynne) Hallman both of Chapin; daughter Cindy (Charles) Frick of Little Mountain; grandchildren Angela (Welsh) Conder of West Virginia Charles E. (Brittany) Frick and Andrew Frick both of Little Mountain Deena (Hannon) Bedenbaugh of Newberry Kenny (Morgan) Hallman of Prosperity Brittany Hallman and Corey Hallman both of Chapin; 2 great-grandsons Ryan and Carson Conder of West Virginia; brothers Darr (Suzette) Frick and Larry (Judith) Frick; and sisters-in-law Gertie Frick Ester Frick Ethel Frick and Ethelene Hallman. In addition to her husband she was predeceased brothers Earl J.D. Willie Mack and Rev. Vernon Frick and by a sister Nezzie F. Koon Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM Tuesday at St. Peters Lutheran Church by the Rev. David Tholstrup. Burial was in the church cemetery. Visitation was from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday at the Whitaker Funeral Home Chapin. The family wishes to say Thank You to a very special friend and caretaker Ms. Mae Savoy for her love and support in helping the family this last year and also to caregivers Barbara Dixon & Patsy Sims Tri County Hospice Nurse Nancy Geib and Josette Freeman.
