Margaret "Maggie" Hancock of Chapin,70 years of age, died on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Prisma Health Baptist in Columbia, SC. Born in Charlotte, NC on July 28, 1950, she was a daughter of the late Everett and Virginia Carter Hancock. She was a retired nurse having worked for Palmetto Retina Center. Miss Hancock was a member of Christian Life Church. Maggie lived her life as a giving person always showing kindness to others. She was blessed with a great sense of humor. Survivors include her children, Matthew Yeager and Morgan Y. Anderton both of England and Molly Yeager of Kingsport, TN; siblings, Darrell Hancock (Kay) of Kingsport, TN and Mary Katherine Haymore (Gene) of Denver, NC; grandchildren, Quiten and Cullen Aderton and Lewis Yeager; 4 great nieces and nephews; and a very dear friend, Jodie Moore. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a great niece Adison "Addy Bug" Hancock. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 26th at 7pm, in Brown Chapel at Christian Life Church, 2700 Bush River RD, Columbia, SC 29210. Memorials are suggested to The Heritage at Lowman.
