Margaret "Peggy" Bunn Goedelman, 86, of Newberry, wife of the late Elmer W. Goedelman, Jr., died Sunday, October 22, 2017 at the Newberry County Memorial Hospital. Born April 4, 1931 in St. Louis, MO, she was a daughter of the late Jacob E. "Jack" Bunn and Mary McCormick Bunn. She was a retired bookkeeper. Peggy appreciated the outdoors, enjoyed gardening and also quilting. She found pleasure in being at the beach sitting on the porch listening to the breaking waves. She is survived by her sons, William "Bill" Goedelman and his wife Veritas of Oklahoma City, OK, Jeff Goedelman and his wife Julie of Belleville, IL, and Brian Goedelman of Newberry; sisters, Elaine Burrows of Aiken, SC and Jackie Burrows and her husband, Jim Burrows of Prosperity; grandchildren, Gregory, Andrew, James and Kristoffer Goedelman; and nephews, John Carter of Prosperity and Steve Burrows of Freeburg, IL. Mrs. Goedelman's family will have a celebration of her life at a later date.
