Margaret Ravenel Ervin Parr 64 of 21596 Highway 76 Newberry wife of David Boyd Parr died Monday December 3 2007 at the Newberry County Memorial Hospital.She was born on April 28 1943 in Florence a daughter of the late Evander McIver and Margaret Mansfield Ervin. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer. She was a graduate of McClenaghan High School and she attended Erskine College. She is survived by her husband of the home two daughters and sons-in-law; Ravenel and Robert Godbold of Darlington and Mary Nance and Joshua Joseph of Newberry; a son and daughter-in-law; David Boyd and Nancy Blair Parr Jr. of Columbia; three sisters; Ida E. Whitehead of Florence Agnes E. Asman of Columbia and Penn E. Grove of Knoxville TN; and five grandchildren; Heather R. Godbold Anna R. Godbold Margaret R. Godbold D. Boyd Parr III and Louis C. Parr.Funeral services were conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer by the Rev. Caldwell Day. Interment was in Rosemont Cemetery.Visitation did follow the burial at the Family Life Center at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer.
