Margrit Elfrida McWhorter, 70, of Chappells, passed away Friday evening, December 15, 2023, at the Hospice House of Hospice & Palliative Care of the Piedmont in Greenwood, South Carolina

She was born on November 14, 1953, in Nuremburg, Germany, and was the wife of thirty-five years to Mr. Horace Richard McWhorter.

In addition to her husband, Horace, Margrit is survived by: her daughter, Ramona Thomas and her grandchildren, Mariah Thomas and Elijah Thomas.
