Marjorie Ray Hudnall 79 of 696 Mud Creek Road Newberry died Monday June 20 2011 at her residence. Born on April 6 1932 in Panama City Panama she was a daughter of the late Marvin Albert and Irene Cochran Ray. Mrs. Hudnall was a member of St. Philips Lutheran Church and regularly attended a local Bible study. She loved gardening and was a member of the Newberry Garden Club. She and her husband enjoyed traveling the world and she loved spending time with her family. Mrs. Hudnall is survived by her devoted husband of 61 years Stanley Hudnall Jr.; children S. David (Amy) Hudnall of New Haven CT Susan (Charlie) Tupper of Edisto Mike (Janet) Hudnall of Newberry Jeannie Johnson of Newberry and Jodi Hudnall of Newberry; grandchildren Johnny Tupper Nicki Mollohan David Tupper Heather Lindler Ashton Tupper Ty Addy Katie Hudnall Erin Addy Michael Hudnall Steven Young Molly Hudnall and Leah Hudnall; and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother Richard Ray. Funeral services were conducted at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at St. Philips Lutheran Church by Rev. Terry Amick. The family did receive friends at the home.
