Martha Ann Richardson, 82, of White Rock, SC, died June 15, 2025. Born November 12, 1942, in Woodstock, VA, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Clarence Luther and Mrs. Floy Surena (Harmon) Richardson, Sr.

Martha was very active and outgoing. She was a member of WELCA at St. John Lutheran Church, the bell choir at the Heritage, Chapin Chirpers, and the Dutch Fork Choral Society. She participated in reading/poetry groups at the Heritage and enjoyed crafting classes and travels sponsored by the Heritage. She not only attended chapel services but also served as

acolyte and participant in the music program of the chapel. She found great joy in her many friends, her cat Scottie, her domestic/international travels and reading mysteries.

Martha is survived by her sister Julia Richardson Parker, Columbia, SC; brothers Clarence L (Alice) Richardson, Jr., Lexington, SC; and Joseph P (Kay Hoch) Richardson, Rockville, MD; nieces are Wendi (Jeff) Butler, and Jennifer (Mike) Parker-Harley; nephews Spence (Tiffany) Richardson; Paul (Patricia)Richardson and Alexander Richardson; five great nieces and nephews; aunt, Elizabeth "Betty" Fulmer of Newberry; and her family of friends at the Heritage at Lowman.

The funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at 4:00 pm at St. John Lutheran Church, 1028 St. John's Road, Irmo, SC. The family will gather with friends in the fellowship hall afterward.

The family wishes to thank the staff and residents at the Heritage at Lowman for their care and support of Martha during her thirty-one years at Lowman.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to St John's Lutheran Church and the Heritage at Lowman.
