Mary Cecilia Correll Anderson 71 of Newberry died Tuesday evening August 12. Funeral services were conducted at 12 noon on Saturday August 16 2014 at St. Lukes Episcopal Church in Newberry by the Rev. Elizabeth Morgan. Burial did follow in Rosemont Cemetery. Visitation was on Friday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Whitaker Funeral Home. Born in Chattanooga TN on October 1 1942 she was a daughter of the late John Swan and Dorothy Kough Correll. Mrs. Anderson is survived by her husband H. Edgar Eddie Anderson whom she married on December 17 1966 at the Cathedral of Christ the King in Atlanta. She is also survived by daughters Katharine Elizabeth Anderson-Davila (David Michael) of Roswell GA and Margaret Meg Correll Anderson King (Tim M.) of Stone Mountain GA a granddaughter Moira Kough King; sisters Jean Marie Correll Howard (Leigh) of Atlanta GA and Mary Elizabeth Correll Dankel (Raymond) of Voorhees NJ; brother John Swan Correll of Atlanta GA; niece Gabrielle Elizabeth Swan Howard and nephew Christopher E. Correll. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brother Charles William Correll. Active pallbearers were Dr. Ponce de Leon Bullard Richard B. Carter James P. Coggins Frank J.
