Mary Elizabeth Carney died on November 26, 2024 in Chapin, South Carolina. She was born on April 1, 1955, in Cambridge Massachusetts to the late George and Dorothy Boudreau Carney.

Mary spent her life in Sudbury and Marlborough Massachusetts, having recently moved to Chapin to be closer to her family. Compassionate and nurturing, Mary shared many years of her life caring for a person with disabilities. She also loved caring for her pets.

She is survived by her brother, David M. Carney and wife Joanne; niece Catherine Carney Hurd, nephew Sean Carney and their families.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers George and William Carney

Mary will be laid to rest in Wadsworth Cemetery. Services will be held at a later date. The family wishes to thank all of you that are keeping them in your thoughts and prayers.
