Mary Cromer Livingston 79 of Newberry died Friday July 31 2015 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM at the Whitaker Funeral Home Chapel on Monday August 3 2015 conducted by Rev. Terry Amick. Interment will follow at Newberry Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday August 2 2015 from 6:00 until 7:30 PM at Whitaker Funeral Home. She was born on May 27 1936 in Newberry and was a daughter of the late Harold Lee Cromer Sr. and Myrtle Childress Cromer. Mrs. Livingston was a member of Queens Memorial Presbyterian Church. She thoroughly enjoyed camping and fishing. She is survived by her husband of 61 years Vernon J. Livingston; children Debbie Lawson (Dave) and Jakie Livingston both of Newberry; grandchildren Joshua Graham Jeremy Graham (Stacey) Skipper Livingston (Charley) Brittany Horton (Buddy) and Gracie Livingston all of Newberry; and siblings Kay Wicker Mimia Cromer and Mark Cromer all of Newberry. She will be remembered by her family as a loving grandmother who adored her grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by siblings Harold Bill Cromer Jr. Frank Cromer and Buck Cromer. Pallbearers will be Chris White Landon White Harold Cromer Freddie Harmon Sam Berry and Kenneth Inman. Honorary pallbearers will be Master Canton Hamilton Folk and Master Cam Nathanial Randolph.
