Mary Hawkins Sease 87 formerly of 4139 Bush River Road Newberry widow of Burton R. Sease died Saturday January 10 2004 at the J.F. Hawkins Nursing Home.Mrs. Sease was born in Newberry County a daughter of the late Bloomer Pearson and Mary Elizabeth Sligh Hawkins. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer and the Mary E. Hipp Sunday School Class.Mrs. Sease is survived by a daughter Rosemary S. Dominick of Columbia; a son and daughter-in-law David B. and Millicent Sease of Columbia; two granddaughters Marianne Sease of Greenville and Rebekah Sease of Charlotte; a sister Elizabeth H. Shannon of Newberry; two brothers Bloomer F. "Jack" Hawkins and Willie H. Hawkins both of Newberry; and a number of nieces and nephews.Funeral services for Mary Hawkins Sease will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer by the Rev. Steven Counts and the Rev. Dick Albert. Interment will be in Rosemont Cemetery.Visitation will be from 6:00 to 7:30 P.M.
