Mary Inez King Kitchen 78 formerly of Kinards widow of Lester Kitchen died Sunday July 24 2005 at White Oak Manor.Mrs. Kitchen was born on May 10 1927 in Joanna a daughter of the late William and Mittie Bedenbaugh King. She was a former employee of Joanna Mills and was a member of the Fairview Baptist Church. Mrs. Kitchen is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Sue and Freddie Wingard of Newberry; a son and daughter-in-law Donnie L. and Sandra J. Kitchen of Joanna; three sisters Betty Goff of Myrtle Beach Evelyn Campbell of Greenville and Lula Bell Madden of Ware Shoals; three grandchildren and spouses Shane and Amy Kitchen of Little Mountain Lee Anne and Mike Egleston of Newberry and Todd and Hollie Wingard of Joanna; six great-grandchildren Derek Vereen Nikki Wingard Benji Wingard Lynzi Wingard Sophie Egleston and Henry Egleston. She was predeceased by a grandson Michael Wingard; three sisters Ellen Madden Daisy Hanson and Verna Lee Nelson; and a brother Thomas King. Funeral services was conducted at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the Fairview Baptist Church by the Rev. Mark Bernshausen and the Rev. Tommy Daum. Interment was in Bush River Baptist Church Cemetery.Visitation was from 6:00 to 7:30 P.M.
