Obituary

Megan E. Graham, 24 years old, daughter of Sammie C. Graham and the late Linda Gilliam Graham, died on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at her home in Newberry. She was born in Greenwood, SC on June 27, 1996. She attended Central United Methodist Church in Newberry. Megan was a loving, selfless and caring young woman who never complained of her physical issues or allowed her medical condition to control her life. She was a You Tuber who enjoyed creating videos and especially loved generating Japanese anime videos. Megan is survived by her father, Sammie Graham and his wife, Casey Dean; brothers, Bryan P. and Brandon C. Graham; grandmother, Ann C. Graham; aunt, Mary Gilliam; uncles, Larry Gilliam, Larry Graham (Emily) and Mike Graham (Debbie); and a nephew, Noah E. Graham. In addition to her mother, Megan was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Ernest and Helen Wicker Gilliam; paternal grandfather, Bubba Graham; and an aunt, Marie Gilliam Frick. Visitation will be from 5:30 PM until 7:30 PM on Wednesday, February 17 at the Whitaker Funeral Home in Newberry. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, February 18, 2021 in Henry Hall of Central United Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. Joe Long. Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens.
