Melvin Dennis Dominick, 75, a lifelong resident of Newberry County, South Carolina, died at his residence on Monday, August 18, 2025. Melvin was born on August 4, 1950 to his parents, Clarence William Dominick and Fay Dominick.

Melvin was self-employed and in the construction industry working in septic work, and hauling rock and gravel. Melvin has been married to Sherry Ann Dominick, for 40 years. Together, they built a family that included their son, Cody Dennis Dominick, and his wife Kim. Melvin's pride and joy were his grandchildren, Christopher, Gracelyn, Emily, and Carter, each of which he enjoyed driving them around on his Gator. Melvin treasured his time with his family, camping trips and cookouts were among his favorite activities, providing him with opportunities to create lasting memories with his loved ones.

He also leaves behind his brother, Bobby Dominick, and his sister-in-law Alice. Melvin was preceded in death by his parents as well as his brothers, Larry and Wayne Dominick.

Melvin is a member of Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church. He had a passion for bluegrass music and attending bluegrass music festivals. He also enjoyed attending tractor and car shows.
