Mildred Epting Davis 88 formerly of 728 Parr Rd. Little Mountain SC widow of James W. "Jim" Wilson died Saturday September 24 2005 at the Newberry County Memorial Hospital.Mrs. Davis was born on Nov. 19 1916 in Little Mountain a daughter of the late Quincy A. and Ellen Wheeler Epting. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and she was a former Sunday School teacher. Mrs. Hawkins is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law James E. and Judith H. Davis of Little Mountain and Paul A. and Lynn C. Davis of Mt. Pleasant; five grandchildren and spouses Lisa D and Joel Joel Yarborough of Pomaria Lauren M. Davis of Dallas TX James W. Davis of Mt. Pleasant Lindsey Lake of Mt. Pleasant and Breanna L. and Chris Baker of Greer; two great grandchildren Leah M. Yarborough of Columbia and Domenic Baker of Greer; and a sister Ruby Davis of Savanah GA. She was predeceased by three sisters Lucile Barrier Jessie Koon and Elberta Metts and a brother Frank Epting.Funeral services were conducted 4:00 P.M. Monday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church by Rev. Karl Suhr and the Rev. Pierce Evans. Interment was in the church cemetery. The family was at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. James E.
