Mildred Marie Warren 99 of Berrien Springs passed away Sunday evening August 31 2014 at West Woods of Bridgman. Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Friday September 5 at the Allred Funeral Home in Berrien Springs where friends may visit with the family from 11 a.m. until service time. Online messages may be left at www.allredfuneralhome.com. She was born August 10 1915 in Stockham Nebraska the daughter of Robert and Bessie (Cox) Rollo. She married Oliver W. Warren in Mattoon Illinois on March 28 1936 and dedicated her life to being a wife and mother.She enjoyed gardening and flowers especially African violets. Mildred is survived by a daughter Joyce Davis of Geneva Illinois; three sons--Robert (Helen) Warren of Willowbrook Illinois; Wilbur Willy Warren of Berrien Center; and James (Ila) Warren of Downers Grove Illinois; 10 grandchildren 23 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Oliver on March 24 1992; and her sister Ida Turpin. Memorial contributions may be made to the Worthy Student Fund of the Village Adventist Elementary School Berrien Springs. Mildred was buried next to her husband in Newberry Memorial Gardens Newberry South Carolina. Local arrangements were announced later by Whitaker Funeral Home.
