Molly D. Lindsay 67 of 1914 McHardy St. Newberry SC died April 2 2009 at her residence.Ms Lindsay was born on January 2 1942 in Newberry the daughter of John B. and Atlee Davis Lindsay. She was a retired teacher having taught at Pee Dee Academy Socastee High School Piedmont Technical College and in two Newberry County High Schools. She was a life time member of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer. She is survived by her parents of Newberry; a daughter and her husband Suzy G. and Randall Fowler of Nichols; a son and his wife Jack A. II and Cynthia Grainger of Nichols; her brother and his wife Johnny B. and Kathy Lindsay of Newberry; 3 grandchildren Hunter Fowler Jennifer Grainger and Kayla Grainger; her mother-in-law Hazel Grainger of Nichols; and a niece and nephews.Funeral services were conducted at 10:30 AM Saturday at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer by the Rev. Caldwell Day. Interment was in Rosemont Cemetery.The family was at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Lindsay 2113 Cherry Laurel Dr. Newberry and did receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 PM Friday at the Whitaker Funeral Home.Memorial may be made to the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer Growing in Grace Fund PO Box 342 Newberry SC 29108Active pallbearers were John D.
