Mona Kay Duncan age 56 of Newberry South Carolina formerly of Bluefield WV died on Monday September 24 2012 at Providence Hospital in Columbia SC. Born on March 6 1956 in Tazewell County VA she was a daughter of the late Patton and Lona Underwood Van Dyke. She was a devoted wife mother and grandmother. She had lived in South Carolina for the past 10 years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 2 sons Daniel and Roy Osborne. She is survived by her husband: Michael W. Duncan of the home; son: Chris Burley of Lashmeet WV; daughter: Miracle Osborne of Springville VA; brothers: Keith Van Dyke of Jewell Ridge VA and Jackie Van Dyke of Chester SC; sisters: Jenny Louthan of Chester SC Michelle Van Dyke of Grundy VA and Regina Louthan of Indianapolis IN; grandchildren: Devyn Timothy and Logan; and several nieces and nephews Graveside services were held on Thursday September 27 2012 at 11:00 AM at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell. Friends did call on Wednesday evening from 6-8 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell West Virginia. Those wishing to attend the graveside service were asked to meet at the funeral home by 10:30 AM the morning of the service.
