Nancy Richardson "Ma" Metts 90 of 2005 Charles St. Newberry widow of Haskell E. Metts died Monday at the Newberry County Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Metts was born on May 18 1913 in Newberry County a daughter of the late Thomas P. and Mary Wicker Richardson. She was a retired employee of Shawnee Manufacturing Co. She was a member of Mayer Memorial Lutheran Church WELCA the Myrtle Derrick Circle the Senior Adult Bible Class and the West End Senior Citizens. Mrs. Metts is survived two sons and a daughter-in-law Bobby Metts and Carroll "Sidney" and Debbie Metts all of Newberry; two grandsons David Metts and Darren Metts both of Newberry; and a sister Mary Kinard of Pomaria. Funeral services for Nancy Richardson "Ma" Metts will be conducted at 3:00 PM Thursday at Mayer Memorial Lutheran Church by the Rev. Elizabeth Platts. Interment will be in Newberry Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 7:00 to 8:30 P. M.
